The murder case continues with false leads, changing witness statements and a failure to charge a suspect despite more than 50 initial suspects identified by the Irish police.

Episode 4
Years later, the French authorities take over the investigation from the Irish Police and circle around one key suspect: Ian Bailey. A battle between cultures and judicial systems looms large.

Episode 5
After 24 years of suspicion, the French authorities put Ian Bailey on trial in absentia. The defendant remains in his home in West Cork while French Magistrates deliberate on his fate.
