Because Mot thanks to its magic power, can carry around through time (or through the whole galaxy) through cupboard doors. How? If you see him one day in your closet, you can ask him. This is how Mot and Leo will wander through time, sometimes to the chagrin of the latter, sometimes very happy to escape the daily grind.
