What Do I Want?
High schooler Mieko has difficulties dealing with the opposite sex. Her boyfriend turns violent one night, and she flees from the house. In the streets, she runs into Makio, a fellow classmate, and the two begin to hang out more and more. They even decide to get a part-time job together, where they meet college student Eiji.

The Lake
Mieko, Makio, and Eiji grow close and spend time together outside of work. The three of them head to a lake for some BBQ. When Eiji drives his younger friends home, he realizes that he is developing feelings for Makio.

What Do You Mean by "Like"?
It's almost summer vacation for Mieko and Makio. Eiji's sister, Anna, suggests they go stay at their parents' villa. Everyone has a great time, but through a strange turn of events, Eiji reveals how he truly feels about Makio…

The World of Three, The World of Two
Makio decides to date Eiji. As the seasons pass, their love blossoms for one another. Mieko could not be happier for her friends and wishes for these days to never end.

May You Be Together Forever
Eiji refuses to come home because his father, Yosuke, does not approve of his relationship with Makio. During a surprise encounter with Makio, Yosuke shares how he really feels about their relationship.

Mieko's decision
Yosuke wants to have a word with Mieko, Makio, and Eiji. They expect Yosuke to finally give Makio and Eiji his blessing. Instead, Yosuke asks them to break up. When Eiji and Makio despair, Mieko offers the only thing she can: To give birth to their baby.

Feelings Falter
Mieko is pregnant. The path forward may be unclear, but the three friends work together to prepare for the baby. Makio, however, begins to doubt his own feelings.

Just one or two things you dislike.
Unable to bear the tension, Makio distances himself from Mieko and Eiji. At his new apartment, Makio runs into Asato, his childhood friend. Asato notices that Makio hasn't been taking care of himself and invites him over for dinner.

Cold and Alone
Makio and Asato enjoy their nightly dinners together. While Makio is a little detached, he offers words of encouragement to Asato, who is haunted by his past and work troubles. The two begin to form a special bond, but one morning, Asato makes contact with the darkness in Makio's heart...

More Than Words
With Asato's support, Makio meets with Mieko and Eiji. Those days were irreplacable. Makio finally confesses his true feelings that he had buried deep inside his heart. When the four finally meet, what do they discover?
