Episode 1
In Teesdale, farm vet Richard helps a sheep who has mysteriously gone blind. A springy spaniel proves a handful for small animal vet Steve and in Fife, vet Adam deals with an emotional case - a homeless kitten who has been run over by a car.

Episode 2
A labrador gun dog is rushed to small animal vet Steve after being accidentally shot in the face. On his countryside rounds, farm vet Richard visits baby alpacas in need of microchipping and a herd of belted galloway cattle. And in Fife, rabbits Hugo and Alfie are booked in for the snip with vet Jenni, who aims to stop them fighting.

Episode 3
A critically ill miniature donkey foal makes for an emotional emergency case for equine vet Kerry. Out on the farm, vet Richard creates an operating table from a forklift truck. And at the small animal hospital, senior vet Adam's job is anything but routine when he x-rays a tortoise and treats a gecko with a problematic eye.

Episode 4
Small animal vet Adam decides his much-loved shetland pony Hector needs a major operation to make him less aggressive. In Teesdale, farm vet Graham has double trouble when he discovers a cow is having difficulty giving birth to twins, and there is more mothering trouble for small animal vet Steve when a border collie has a nasty womb infection and cannot feed her puppies.

Episode 5
Richard visits a long-standing client where business means everything from de-horning a cow to trimming a cow's overgrown hoof, rounded off with tea and scones made by the farmer's wife. At the small animal hospital in Fife, vet Megan helps a seriously ill yorkshire terrier and his doting owners. And there is news in store for an unsuspecting cat owner when vet Adam makes a surprise discovery.

Episode 6
Vet Adam deals with a life-saving emergency at the small animal hospital in Fife when a dog is hit by a train. In Teesdale, farm vet Richard artificially inseminates some welsh black cattle, and all fingers are crossed for problem pedigree Gwen who has failed to get pregnant three times. Meanwhile, at the rural practice, feathers are ruffled when vet Steve tries to clip a budgie's claws.

Episode 7
Farm vet Richard finds out how many of farmer Cliff's cows are pregnant and fits nose rings to some of his bulls. Back at the rural practice, vet Steve treats a bunny with wonky teeth. And in Fife, vet Megan has a testing night shift when a great dane with a life-threatening condition is rushed in.

Episode 8
In Teesdale, equine vet Sybil attempts a delicate operation to save a horse's sight. Farm vet Erika is called out to an emergency on a farm where a cow is having difficulty giving birth, and there is another troublesome birth in Fife, where the team is on tenterhooks to see if a first-time mum will accept her minute-old puppies.

Episode 9
Vet Megan is on a mission in Fife to help re-home 80 commercial caged hens with local families, and when one is discovered with a broken leg, she takes it under her wing.
In Teesdale, farm vet Richard takes drastic action to save the life of a calf with bloat, while small-animal vet Helen helps a jack russell puppy who's bitten her own tongue.

Episode 10
Vet Steve helps a kestrel with a damaged wing and hopes to eventually release her back to the wild, while equine vet Sybil treats a pony with a locked leg - and a reputation for being naughty. And at the small animal hospital in Fife, heart and lung expert Craig is under pressure as he attempts to save a yorkshire terrier's life.

Episode 11
A new mum with a young calf collapses and farm vet Richard is called out to save her life. Back at the Teesdale practice, equine vet Sybil has some difficult news for a worried horse owner.
While in the small animal hospital in Fife, some puppies are rushed in after eating potentially deadly ibuprofen, and vet Megan treats a chinchilla with problem teeth.

Episode 12
In Teesdale, a concussed tawny owl makes an unusual patient for vet Rosie. Equine vet Kerry heads off to treat a horse with a badly cut face; and in Fife, vet Adam has an emotional case when an owner with a debilitating phobia discovers the dog he depends on has a worrying lump.

Episode 13
Farm vet Richard carries out a tracheotomy to save a calf's life at a Teesdale dairy farm. Small animal vet Steve is determined to help an abandoned elderly cat find a new home; and in Fife, vet Megan does some detective work on a coughing guinea pig and needs to remove a stick that is stuck inside a dog.

Episode 14
In Teesdale, equine vet Sybil battles with a highland cow in order to treat some Fell ponies, while vet Steve turns dog competition judge at the local Bowes Agricultural Show. And at Fife's small animal hospital, vet Angela has to break some bad news when a rottweiler's suspected broken toenail is not what it first seems.

Episode 15
An emergency cow caesarean leads to a worrying case for farm vet Graham. Small animal vet Ian performs a dangerous operation on a rescue dog with painful ears and, at the small animal hospital in Fife, a local celebrity - the town peacock - puts the pressure on vet Adam.
