At the Walsall Recycling Centre, Jay Blades roots around for salvageable items that he can revamp. He enlists the help of his trusty transformers to take on some tricky items. Upholsterer Simion Hawtin-Smith goes out on a limb with a bold redesign of a sofa, and lighting expert Guy Trench's skills are tested by a set of lathe tools. Jay turns his hand to creating something saleable from a collection of plant pots, but can he help them find their way from dirty to dazzling?
