Eight months later, Savi, having cheated death, makes the most of her second chance. Karen struggles to rebound from loss, both personal and professional. April's life gets interesting when old friend, Mickey, returns and pushes her to make some changes and Joss tries her hand at a new job, party planner to wealthy Angelenos.

April throws caution to the wind and begins a blissful affair with handsome artist Daniel Zamora. Meanwhile, Joss and Harry seem to clash over everything when they're hired to throw a lavish party for a wealthy housewife. Savi returns to the firm and bristles at sharing an office with stunning new attorney Antonia Ruiz, who appears to have no sense of personal boundaries. Karen faces some ghosts from her past when she's called upon to testify at Elizabeth Grey's parole hearing.

Joss is caught in the middle as mediator when Savi and Harry - still not talking to each other -- clash over selling their home. Back at the office, Toni continues to be a thorn in Savi's side. When April learns she has to throw a lavish party for the parents at Lucy's expensive new private school, it's Mickey to the rescue with a bash that no one will soon forget.

Savi finds a surprising connection with a man other than Dom. After a series of dating disasters, Karen hits rock bottom emotionally. April introduces Daniel to the gang. Joss shells out big bucks so she and Harry can attend a pricey charity event to drum up business, but ends up attracting something else instead, the attentions of a handsome plastic surgeon.

Savi's sister and friends are concerned when her secret camaraderie with Zack reveals a devil-may-care side. Karen tries to heed April's advice that her harmless addiction could turn dangerous. Scott makes his move with Joss, and then shares a surprising fantasy with her. A blissfully-in-love April gets some disconcerting news about Daniel. Meanwhile, Dom grapples with repercussions in the office after he and Savi come out about their relationship.

Karen's secret life gets the best of her when she meets a guy she likes. Joss gets shocking news from Harry that could impact both of their lives. With Daniel out of town, April has her reasons to decline a dinner invitation with the wealthy parents of her daughter's best friend. Before Savi and Harry sign their divorce papers, she has an epiphany that challenges her future with Dom.

April braces herself for Daniel's response when she finally confronts him to come clean. Joss finds that Scott's work as a plastic surgeon is testing the trust in their relationship. Dom catches Savi in a lie about her friend Zack and suggests they all meet. Jacob tells Karen he wants to make a go of it, but first must take care of another situation.

The four best girlfriends come together to help Savi say goodbye to her beloved house. Meanwhile, April realizes the world of being a mistress collides with her role as a mother. A scheming Joss finds a way to keep Harry from returning to Australia when she meets a celebrity supermodel, and Karen is faced with a soul-crushing dilemma concerning her lover, Jacob and her client, Anna.

Shocking phone call brings April's past back to haunt her. She's even more rattled when it appears that a strange man is shadowing her every move. Savi takes Joss's advice and reaches out to her long-absent dad. Karen struggles to get Anna to open up and tell the truth, and Toni has some news for Dom.

April learns the identity of the man who has been stalking her. Karen blurs doctor-patient boundaries when she offers a helping hand to Anna, Toni's hidden agenda becomes clear and has a devastating impact on Savi and Dom and when Scott takes Joss home to meet his big, extended family, Harry plants some seeds of doubt that she might not measure up.

April faces the ultimate betrayal, Joss shocks everyone with a big announcement, Jacob makes Karen a tantalizing offer and Dom is determined to beat Toni at her own game.

April, in the middle of helping the FBI pinpoint Paul's location, tries to keep her daughter Lucy from finding out what's really going on between her and Daniel. One of Karen's former lovers has startling news for her, causing her to do some soul-searching. Savi goes on a real date with Zack but it turns into something that neither could have predicted. While Joss is planning her engagement party, she and Harry have a wicked argument about him romancing their boss, the supermodel.

Anticipation, tension and mixed emotions swirl around the lives of the four girlfriends as they prepare for Joss's big engagement party. Karen anxiously awaits the results of her HIV test, April must rely on Daniel to keep her and Lucy safe from her ex-husband's violent enemies and a dejected Harry must decide if he should help Scott with yet another surprise for Joss. Meanwhile, Savi wonders if she should admit her change of heart.
