Missing: The Guthrie Family
On a snowy day in February 1977, Leslie Guthrie left her home in suburban New York in a car with her two small children, only to never be seen again. Leslie's family says just before they disappeared, Leslie was having problems in her marriage. Could Leslie have taken Julie, 6, and Timmy, 3, and started a new life? Could they have joined a cult -- something Leslie had been reading about? Could their car have gone off the road and sunk deep to the bottom of one of the many murky bodies of water surrounding her house? Leslie's family and Tim Guthrie Sr., Leslie's husband, have gone in circles for decades trying to answer those questions. Reporter Kristin Thorne investigates this heartbreaking and mysterious cold case.

Missing: William "Billy" Smolinski
One of the last phone calls William "Billy" Smolinski made before disappearing in August 2004 was to a man who was also romantically involved with a woman Billy had been dating. Billy left a voicemail telling the man to "watch his back." Police believe Billy was murdered, but by whom? And where is his body? For two decades, Billy's heartbroken parents have been trying to find him. His case has even inspired a federal act, "Billy's Law," signed by President Joe Biden. Investigative reporter Kristin Thorne finds that the pieces of the puzzle lie across Connecticut -- witnesses who saw strange things happen at the time of Billy's disappearance. Kristin also tracks down persons of interest in Billy's disappearance and pushes them for answers.

Missing Of The Morgue
Their bones may have been found, but their identities are still missing. Inside an office of the New York City Medical Examiner, dozens of clay faces are perched on shelves. They're the faces of people whose skeletons have been found in New York City but have never been identified. One was in the woods, plants growing through the bones and clothes, a wallet concealing a key clue. Another was hidden in plain sight under the George Washington Bridge. A third was found entombed in a wine cellar in one of Manhattan's poshest neighborhoods. The facial reconstructions represent what the people may have looked like when they were alive. Investigative reporter Kristin Thorne shows us these challenging anthropology cases - the cases represented by the faces in their office. Officials are hoping to solve the mysteries of who these people were, and exactly how they died.
