In Sheffield, Dan visits retired couple Gloria and Mick, who are looking for a buyer for an 18th-century railway carriage that they have painstakingly restored – with a price tag of over two million pounds, Dan has to hope that his little black book of contacts can help him get the deal across the line. Meanwhile, in Cheshire's affluent Golden Triangle, Kathy meets Norma, a terminally ill grandmother hoping that her tanzanite ring can help raise a fortune for her family.

In the Cotswolds, Miles hopes to move the pawn industry further into the 21st century by brokering the UK's first pawn transaction using cryptocurrency – with a client looking to raise a loan against a rare sapphire ring worth over 200,000 pounds, could this be that ground-breaking deal that he's been looking for? Meanwhile, artist David is looking to bolster his retirement fund by selling his celebrated painting of David Bowie in the capital, but can luxury brokers Adam and Emily navigate the volatile art market to secure the price tag David is hoping for?

When teenager Rosie Duff was found brutally murdered in the Scottish university town of St Andrews in 1996, suspicion fell on the three drunken students who were discovered at the scene of the crime, claiming to have found her body. Twenty-five years on, someone appears to be willing to risk everything to keep the secrets surrounding the case hidden. Do the three men know more than they previously revealed? How flawed was the original investigation? And can Karen uncover the truth of what happened to Rosie that fateful night?
