Michael Palin in Nigeria (2024)
In his latest epic adventure, Michael Palin embarks on a 1300-mile journey across Nigeria.
Known as ‘The Giant of Africa', within 50 years Nigeria will be the third most populated country in the world after India and China. And while claims of corruption and fraud have blighted the country he also finds a very different Nigeria - stunning nature, diverse cultures and fascinating people. From the chaotic energy of Lagos to Islamic history in Kano and the tropical landscapes of the south, yet in some areas the spectre of terrorism remains. For Michael, at 80 years old, it may well turn out to be the most prophetic journey of his life.

Yellowstone
Yellowstone follows the Dutton family, led by John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, under constant attack by those it borders — land developers, an Indian reservation, and America's first National Park. It is an intense study of a violent world far from media scrutiny — where land grabs make developers billions, and politicians are bought and sold by the world's largest oil and lumber corporations. Where drinking water poisoned by fracking wells and unsolved murders are not news: they are a consequence of living in the new frontier. It is the best and worst of America seen through the eyes of a family that represents both.
