Hosted by BBC Radio 6 Music's Lauren Laverne, BBC Four provides live coverage of the Mercury Prize 2021 from the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London.

The Mercury Prize Albums Of The Year celebrates and promotes the best of British music annually, recognising artistic achievement across a range of contemporary music genres. For the first time since September 2019, the awards ceremony returns to Hammersmith and the BBC will provide live coverage of the event. The programme will feature live performances from the shortlisted artists and will culminate in the live announcement of this year's winner.
