Halil does not give Zeynep the satisfaction of having peaked his interest. The bloody wedding dress and note that Mustafa sends to Menekşe is too disturbing for the family and Halil. Mustafa also sent a red ribbon to Menekşe's father. Halil immediately takes the necessary measures for the protection of Menekşe.
Commissioner Ömer also assigns protection to Menekşe. Menekşe is preparing to open her patisserie and Halil reassures her that he will not let Mustafa's threats interfere with her plans.
Zeynep asks Mithat about his relationship with Halil's mother. Mithat was Halil's father's partner and apparently had an affair with Halil's mother.
Mustafa tries to lose track of himself. While looking for a place to take shelter on a deserted road outside the city, he discovers a road an accident and takes advantage of the victim's identity. Assuming the new identity, his path crosses with a woman named Emine. Halil's lawyers speed up Menekşe's divorce case. With the testimony of Commissioner Ömer, Menekşe appears before the judge to regain her freedom.
