Coming to a Chinese restaurant, only to realise their coupon doesn't work during holidays, Kogoro, Conan, and Ran are asked to come join the movie crew already sitting there. They were looking for a new young actress for their movie, and their eyes was set on Ran after witnessing her high-kick performance. While eating at a Chinese restaurant, the movie director falls dead, and it appears to be poisoning. Detective at the scene suspects Kogoro, and they mistake him for Detective Yokomizo who cut his hair, only to realize he's his brother. Ran appears to be having a slight fever and is suffering hallucinations or something in relation to Shinichi and two other mysterious people.

Chinatown Deja Vu in the Rain (Part 2)
Ran begins to look sick throughout the investigation, her mind is elsewhere. The victim was killed with cyanide, but how? Ran remembers her original meeting with Shuichi Akai.
