Episode 1
Matt faces up to some of the vital changes that need to be made in order to secure the future of the farm. First on the to-do list is a much-needed renovation of the miniature donkey stables.

Episode 2
Matt calls in old family friend Richard and his heavy machinery to take on his biggest plan to date - a new road around the farm, hopefully making everything more accessible for his parents. The list of repairs keeps growing and Matt finds himself in a race against the rain to fix a hole in the roof of the new chicken barn, but the family get a welcome break from work when the puppies are born and Molly, Luke and Nicola get to meet the new arrivals for the first time.

Episode 3
Matt reveals his plan for increasing biodiversity in the woodland and planting the apple tree orchard that his parents Mike and Janice have always dreamed of. Farrier John pays the donkeys a visit and is surprised to find them living next to an unexpected new neighbour, and Matt visits the garage to see whether they've had any luck getting dad his dad's old Dodge up and running.

Episode 4
The ancient meadows get some new inhabitants when the family take delivery of some new beehives, while Matt prepares for lambing season and selects a ram with help from mum Janice. Billy the vet returns to check on the puppies before they leave for their forever homes, and the family reflects on the positive changes they have made since Janice's accident.
