Liverpool were looking to follow-up their incredible 5-0 win over Man United with a victory against a Brighton side that has impressed so far this season, while fellow contenders Chelsea took on a Newcastle side that have been making the headlines off the pitch following their takeover deal. Meanwhile, the Red Devils were looking to bounce back from their humiliating defeat last time out by emulating their 3-1 win over Spurs in last term's corresponding fixture. Plus, Leicester City v Arsenal, Burnley v Brentford, Manchester City v Crystal Palace and Watford v Southampton.
