MOTD Live: UEFA Euro 2024 - Slovakia v Ukraine
Coverage of the Group E match from Dusseldorf Arena, as both sides play their second group game. Both of these teams finished third in their groups in the Euro finals three years ago, but only Ukraine made it through to the knockout stages thanks to their superior record. Their goal difference of minus one meant that they edged through to play Sweden in the last 16, but Slovakia's 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Spain proved crucial and saw them miss out. The last meeting between these two was in the UEFA Nations League in 2018, with two goals in either half helping Ukraine to come out on top with a comprehensive 4-1 victory, but picking a winner in this match, and indeed in this group, isn't immediately obvious.
