Season 1

Episodes

Mary joins her friend Mel Giedroyc on a camping trip and shares some delicious recipes: a hearty chicken tartiflette, a speedy veg ragù and some creamy raspberry parfaits, all made easy.

More Will Than Skill
Jordan North has more will than skill when cooking, so he joins Mary for some simple recipes to impress his pals, and as a thank you takes her to the pub for a pint and game of darts.

Starting from Scratch
The queen of baking meets the king of the dance floor, Anton Du Beke. Anton is a total novice when it comes to cooking but wants to learn so he can make food for the family. So far, the only thing he can make is eggs, and Mary is certain he can expand his repertoire.
The pair are meeting in sunny Bournemouth on a rare down-day from Anton's tour. He's performed here hundreds of times but never gets a chance to enjoy all this seaside town has to offer. Mary has some fun planned for them both, and of course some recipes to teach him that show just how simple cooking scrumptious food can be: crispy squid, smoked salmon linguine, beef cannelloni, chicken escalope and apricot Portuguese tarts.

Simple Time-Savers
Mary surprises Lorraine Kelly on the set of her show to teach her and daughter Rosie some delicious time-saving recipes, including a fragrant Thai-style beef stir-fry and sea bream with samphire.

Stress-Free Cooking
Mary joins AJ Odudu on a beautiful local allotment to teach her the joy of stress-free cooking. AJ tries her hand at a luscious tiger prawn courgetti and a rich aubergine bhuna.

Adventurous Cooking
Mary joins Michael Ball on stage in the West End to teach him some new and exciting recipes - ideal for a keen cook who wants to be a little more adventurous.

Based on the week's news, Have I Got News for You is fronted by guest hosts and features two regular team captains, Paul Merton and Ian Hislop. Each week the show invites two guests to cast a jaundiced eye over the week's news, resulting in a fast flow of anarchic, spontaneous and hugely entertaining wit and humour. Guests typically represent the world of politics, comedy, show-business and journalism, and are often themselves particularly newsworthy participants. The final touches of Have I Got News for You are put together only hours before recording, allowing guests to comment on the late-breaking news stories of the day.
