In March 1973, 18-year-old Marian Beattie went to a charity dance with her best friend and brother. During the night she was seen dancing with a young man. She left with him after 1am, and within minutes Marian was murdered.

Marie Kilmartin
In December 1993 Marie Kilmartin was last seen at her home in Port Laoise. Her body was found 6 months later in a bog, and a murder investigation began. Over 30 years later her murder remains unsolved. This programme follows her daughter Áine, who had been adopted, as she searches for answers as to who murdered her birth murder.

In February 2013, 36-year-old Olivia Dunlea from Cork was brutally murdered by her boyfriend of just 8 weeks, Darren Murphy. Olivia, a mother of three and a playschool teacher, was stabbed six times.
