Houston, We Have a Problem
Rachel, wife to Dr. James Suliburk and aspiring socialite, has high hopes when Houston's premiere philanthropist invites her to co-chair one of the biggest charity events of the year. However, a subtle dig cuts deep and the seeds of discontent take root when comments made by the mentor offend the young apprentice, which could bring consequences to their mutual friend and cardiologist Erika who brought the two together. Meanwhile, after seventeen years of school and sacrifice, newly-minted plastic surgeon Erika is finally enjoying the spoils of her young career; but, the biological clock is ticking and nobody is hearing it louder than her much younger husband. Ashandra, on the other hand, makes it look easy, balancing her newly-acquired dental practice with her newly-blended family.

Holi Moly
Rachel, Erika and Ashandra are torn when Monica and Elly invite the ladies to conflicting cultural celebrations that happen to fall on the same day. Spring may be in the air, but things get icy when the group's ill-fated efforts to attend both events leave Elly furious and Monica agitated. Meanwhile, Erika is still concerned about how motherhood might affect her career and explores unconventional fertility options. Ashandra's spending habits begin to upset her husband Ricky, but the wily dentist strategically strikes a bargain. With everything going on, Rachel takes her reluctant mother to see Elly for a hearing test.

Boiling Point
Tensions are running high as the group gathers for Rachel's annual crawfish boil. Imad's refusal to commit pushes Monica over the edge as Monica's refusal to apologize to Elly for the group's tardy arrival and disheveled appearance at the recent Persian New Year celebration puts a damper on the festivities. Meanwhile, Rachel is not amused by Erika's negative attitude and is not afraid to say so. After a couple of drinks, Rachel reveals some disturbing information to Elly about an insult Monica recently hurled in the audiologist's direction, which shakes Elly to the core.

Sorry Not Sorry
Monica attempts to convince a resistant Rachel to reconcile with Cindi Rose after the fallout the two had at Cindi's charity event. Erika and Derek share their unconventional fertility plans with his conservative family despite the risk of spoiling Easter brunch. Meanwhile, Ashandra may be in over her head after agreeing to help out her church with a public health project that is more than a little over budget.

An elegant Shabbat dinner at Cindi's turns ugly when an unforeseen religious conflict between Monica and Imad sparks another public outburst. Disinclined to attend Cindi's dinner despite an invitation, Rachel hosts a girls' night out of her own with Ashandra and a fiery Elly who's still reeling from the disparaging remarks Monica made about her. Meanwhile, Maribel attracts a suitor after dipping her toes for the first time into the online dating pool.

Raging Dr. Elly
Already on edge after laying things on the line with Imad in the form of an ultimatum, Monica is blindsided during a girls' day brunch when Elly finally confronts her about disparaging comments she made behind Elly's back. The argument threatens to tear the entire group apart as everyone is forced to take sides. Meanwhile, Erika and Derek receive more unfortunate news in their quest to conceive. Finally, Rachel feels like she has a child of her own thanks to Maribel's latest antics.

Monica in Waiting
Monica has delivered an ultimatum, but has Imad come back to town with the answer she wants to hear? Rachel and Ashandra enlist one of Houston's most eccentric self-made moguls to bring the heat to Ashandra's Havana Nights fundraiser. Meanwhile, Erika transforms a patient's life and Monica and Elly attempt to repair their fractured relationship. Finally, Ashandra skips Cindi Rose's Kentucky Derby Hat Party and Cindi is left speechless when she finds out why.

Takes Two to Sparkle
A double-date with Erika and Derek unexpectedly leads to a revelation for Monica about her rollercoaster relationship with Imad. A death in the family threatens to derail Elly's extravagant birthday celebration. Meanwhile, Rachel's patience is tested yet again when she learns that Cindi Rose is sprouting fresh and potentially defamatory accusations about her. Finally, as self-appointed chief of the fashion police, Maribel places Erika under arrest for not reinforcing the dress code at the party.

I Left My Heart in San Antonio
With the Wellness Center on the line, Ashandra pulls out all the stops for her Havana Nights fundraiser, looking for big donors with deep pockets. Meanwhile, Erika weighs her options when it comes to having children, even if that means leaving Houston and her job. Finally, Monica makes a rash decision, surprising Imad in San Antonio, hoping to find out once and for all if marriage is in her future.

An Indecent Proposal
A tense lunch summit between Monica, her mother, and Imad becomes hard to stomach but yields surprising results. After coming up short for her Havana Nights fundraiser, Ashandra refocuses her goals for the Wellness Center. A Bollywood charity event hosted by Cindi Rose brings all the ladies together and Rachel tries to find some piece of mind with Maribel, understanding that she might not be ready to live on her own. Meanwhile, Monica becomes so swept up in the party that she does not realize that Imad might be finally ready to commit to her.

Malcolm in the Middle
In the words of They Might Be Giants' rollicking Grammy-winning theme song, "life is unfair." The inventive and wholly original sitcom Malcolm in the Middle has been honored with a Peabody Award and Emmys for directing and writing, but if life was fair, it would have earned an Emmy for Best Comedy Series, not to mention statuettes for its pitch-perfect cast. With his perpetual "yes, me worry" expression, Frankie Muniz instantly earns audience empathy as Malcolm, whose chances for a normal life are thwarted not only by his genius IQ, but also by his outrageously dysfunctional family: Lois, his obsessive, control-freak mother; Hal, his loving but ineffectual father; Francis, his eldest brother waging his own private war at military school; middle brother Reese, a delinquent savant; and Dewey, the put-upon youngest. As Malcolm observes at one point, "This family may be rude, loud and gross, and have no shame whatsoever, but with them you know where you stand."
