He moved to the US as a young man, developed a barbecue sauce from traditional Japanese condiments, personally appeared in ads, and ultimately made a fortune from his delicious invention. For lunch, he has raw egg on rice, a simple, classic Japanese dish. In a different segment, we learn that there is an international conference to define exactly how much a kilogram should weigh.
