Tarvenia can no longer put off delivering on her promise. Her son Josh has been wanting a dog and is finally at the age where he can take on the responsibility. Brandon has been looking for the right dog and finds him in a poodle mix named Randy.

Judy and Robert are anxious to grow their new family by adopting a dog. Robert's son, Elias, is also looking forward to having a new buddy around the house. Oliver, a terrier mix, was found severely underweight, scavenging the streets of Los Angeles.
