Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mayawati turns up at Bawankhedi. The police are now under intense pressure to crack the case. The stakes are very high. The investigators work on the theory of an insider job.
Episode 3
Saleem and Shabnam turn on each other. They are convicted and given the death penalty. Shabnam's appeal lawyers in the High Court, who scrutinise the police and the prosecution's story.
