Location, Location, Location - Season 43

Season 43

Episodes

Episode 1
A brand new series of Location, Location, Location kicks off, just in time for its 25th anniversary. And, in this opening episode, the searches come with a twist. Kirstie and Phil are searching 200 miles apart and across two nations. They may have very similar budgets, but they're in very different markets. Kirstie's with sisters Amoke and Ines, whose £375,000 budget should get them a two-bed flat in the buzzy parts of north London. But the horror story of their search to date is one of the worst Kirstie has heard in all her years of searching. In some competitive parts of town, the sisters will need some vision to see what a home can become - and when Kirstie shows them a top-of-budget three-bed with real potential, Amoke and Ines need to decide if they will take on a project to secure their dream flat. But nothing about this search has been easy, and Kirstie senses a difficult negotiation ahead. In north Wales, Rachel and Leo have £400,000 but, in a very different market, Phil needs to find a four-bed detached house with a garage and a large garden for them and their two young kids. With Leo in the army, this is set to be their first home together away from forces accommodation and they both have high hopes for a stunning family home. Ultimately there ends up being two houses in the running, so Phil needs to help them decide which wins; and, importantly, how much to offer so they don't lose out.

Episode 2
The new series continues. Kirstie and Phil are in Surrey, where space is a key requirement for their house-hunting families. Elise and Elliot have three young kids and need to move out of Elliot's parents' house and into a home of their own. They've viewed more than 30 properties, and there's one house that they can't get out of their minds - but it's well over budget and they can't stretch. It's up to Kirstie to show them something that matches up... easier said than done. But, as she knows, there's more than one way to crack a search, and soon they're talking about a home better than any Elise and Elliot thought they'd get. It's just a question of whether Kirstie can make that home theirs. Meanwhile, Kim and Ralph and their two children under five, are bursting out of Kim's two-bed starter flat. They desperately want a taste of what they grew up with in Zimbabwe - enough space to entertain the whole family, and a garden for their two kids to play in. Sticking close to the extended family around Horley, they have a tough choice, as many of the houses Phil shows them hit the mark. It's something they term a 'good problem', but when they finally settle on a favourite, the only problem left is for Phil to secure it at the right price...

Episode 3 Oxfordshire
In Oxfordshire, Kirstie's with Campbell and Lisa, whose space struggles are stifling settling down, while Phil helps Grant and Krish finally move out of what was once Grant's bachelor pad

Episode 4
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer search in and around Stirling and in the outskirts of Glasgow - a part of the world where their house-hunters' money stretches that bit further. Kirstie is with nurse Gwyneth and her husband James, who have £320,000 to buy a house close to Glasgow that they can start a family in. Phil is with mum and daughter Lorraine and Emma, who want a three-bedroom property so that Lorraine's other daughter, Meg, has a place to stay when she returns from a gap year in Australia.

Episode 5
South London is this week's location, as Kirstie Allsopp helps newlyweds Ben and Maya, who want to move out of their high-rise flat into a new house. They have the money - £1.25 million to be precise - and a modest wish list, but that doesn't help in the sought-after areas of Richmond, Guildford and Kingston they prefer. Meanwhile, Phil Spencer is with A&E doctor Chloe, who has £450,000 to spend on a flat with secure parking for her beloved motorbike.

Chelmsford and Glasgow
A catch-up with two couples who were having trouble choosing between character and property size. Back in 2016 Kirstie Allsopp was with Jay and Charlene, parents to one-year-old Kai, who had bought and refurbished their two-bedroom home in Romford, Essex but now wanted to upsize to Chelmsford. Phil had a wide brief in 2021 with Miriam and David, who had spent eight months searching Glasgow for their new home. He soon had success - the only problem was, they have had fallen for a different house. Phil now returns to see how both couples are getting on.
