He also shows photographs from a book called Tìr a Mhurain by photographer Paul Strand. Hailing from Barra, Michael Buchanan, a news reporter, now lives in London. One of his book choices is Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, which is set in Afghanistan and is a story about friendship and redemption.
