Episode 1
Nine British showbiz legends from the '60s, '70s and '80s are about to be given the chance to put on their dream gig in the entertainment capital of the world. The theatre is booked for one night only and the bill includes comedy double act Cannon and Ball, entertainer Bernie Clifton, stand-up comedian Mick Miller, pianist Bobby Crush, singer Kenny Lynch, '60s pop idol Jess Conrad OBE, actress and singer Anita Harris, and actress, singer and comedian Su Pollard.

Episode 2
The showbiz entertainers begin rehearsals for the biggest performance of their lives, but impressing their American producer Frank Marino is proving to be tough. Anita Harris, Tommy Cannon, Jess Conrad and Mick Miller take time out of rehearsals to head out into the desert to meet a Native American medicine man, Bobby Crush takes inspiration for his act from the Liberace Museum, and the comedy acts turn to American comedy legend Frankie Scinta for advice on their performance.

Episode 3
With just a week to go, the showbiz entertainers continue rehearsals for the biggest performance of their lives, but with nothing going to plan, American producer Frank Marino threatens to pull the show. Comedian Mick Miller tries out his stand-up routine at a comedy club, singer Kenny Lynch is struggling to learn a new song for the big night, and comedian Bobby Ball, pianist Bobby Crush, and singer Su Pollard take time out to try their hand at horse riding with cowboys.

Episode 4
Our nine British entertainers have spent over a week rehearsing for their dream gig in the entertainment capital of the world, but with just days to go before the big night, a heartbreaking tragedy hits Las Vegas. Saddened and shocked, the performers question whether the show should go on.

The Rookie
