Episode 2

Honjo (Kiichi Nakai), who was sentenced to Alzheimer's disease by his best friend Mitsuru Sawashima (Moro Morooka), refuses to receive treatment because he does not want to admit his illness. Detective Yoshinori Okudera (Takashi Yamanaka) appears at a law firm in the midst of anxiety that something is starting to go crazy. Okudera was suspicious that Honjo's business card came out from the suicide note of Dr. Mayama (Takashi Kobayashi) who committed suicide, and was investigating himself. Okudera deepens his suspicions when Honjo is asked about yesterday and cannot answer well. Takayuki Sakuraba (Tomomi Maruyama), who was afraid that a medical error that should have been dealt with confidentially in the wake of Mayama's death would become a public issue, calls Honjo and puts pressure on him. Honjo struggles to unravel the truth in order to clear his doubts. However, Masaki Ninomiya (Yuki Izumisawa) does not try to help. Hatsuka Adachi (Mio Imada), the secretariat, does not like Ninomiya, who misunderstands Honjo's personality, and confronts her. Meanwhile, Kanako Shinohara (Yuki Matsushita) notices that a bouquet is placed at the scene of the accident where her son Ryosuke (Minato Masagaki) died. It was offered by someone from the day after the statute of limitations was established.
