When you think of Japanese Kawaii style, you might think "Lolita fashion" or "Gyaru fashion" but now there is one new fashion style that is about to be trendy. That is Sweet n' Girlie style! It is a sweet and soft feminine style like a doll, that takes in motif such as strawberries and ribbons as well as incorporating dark styles that are gothic and cool!
We got to sneak peek into the office of a popular girls' magazine, LARME which ignited fire on Sweet n' Girlie style and successfully sold 200,000 copies in three years, established by a former editor of "Koakuma ageha" (koakuma-style) magazine, who started at 26 years old. We ask her the charms of the Sweet n' Girlie style.
