He also proves how simple batch cooking can be with his poached chicken, which can provide for multiple meals, including one of the simplest chicken pie recipes ever.

Episode 3
Jamie Oliver prepares a simple sesame and miso salmon in minutes and fish cakes that can be made using store-cupboard staples, before throwing together a gnarly lamb madras traybake that's prepped in minutes, leaving the oven to do the hard work. The chef then wraps it all up with a foolproof pastry, as he rustles up a free-form strawberry tart.

Episode 5
Jamie Oliver makes a sweet pea chicken dish, and shows how to batch cook a sauce to rattle out anytime, including for a fast and simple spicy fish soup.
