After the death of her brother Alfonso, Isabel is deeply distressed and morally sunk. Her life has turned into a succession of losses. And it goes to Arévalo along with Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba. There, sad to see his mother worsen by the news, longing for other times, find refuge in the friendship of Gonzalo.
