Kathy

One of six children born into a family riddled with abuse, Kathy left home at the age of 14 for the streets. She became a single mother at 15 but, unable to provide for her twin boys, she lost custody and turned to alcohol to cope. Through sheer determination she managed her addiction and learned the family roofing business, becoming a self-made millionaire. She was on top of the world and newly engaged when the sudden death of her fiancé delivered her back into the arms of addiction, this time adding crack cocaine to the mix. Now 51, Kathy's habit has consumed all her wealth and she has turned to a life of prostitution to support her addictions. Deeply concerned about her health, Kathy's younger sister Audra makes one last attempt to save her sister from almost certain death.
