On Inside the Ambulance: At Christmas, it's the first time cameras have been with crews from West Midlands Ambulance Service as they work around the clock at Christmas and New Year - one of their busiest and most challenging times.
Filmed with cameras at all angles, including on the crewmembers, the series captures the action behind closed doors as they tackle 4,000 emergency calls each day.

Episode 1
Paramedics spot a motorway car fire while blue lighting another patient to hospital. And they receive a call to a man who has fallen of a roof...

Episode 2
Snow casues problems for the West Midlands Ambulance Service. Meanwhile, two separate crews treat patients, both called John, who've both broken their hips after falling.

Episode 3
A dramatic episode sees an ambulance crew rush to treat a young man suffering potentially life-threatening injuries after being stabbed, an elderly lady has fallen badly in the street and an 8-day-old baby has worrying symptoms.

Episode 4
The West Midlands Ambulance Service rush to help a baby who's had seizure and they treat a young man with breathing difficulties who desperately doesn't want to go to hospital.

Episode 5
A man has collapsed at a supermarket while Christmas food shopping and paramedics are sent to the home of a familiar patient who's gearing up to celebrate what could be his last Christmas.

Episode 6
It's Christmas Day and Richard and Adam help a family who tragically face the loss of a loved one, while Dan and Becky are called out to a baby with a worryingly high temperature.

Episode 7
Paramedics blue light to a man suffering a suspected heart attack and are also called to a patient with an amputated leg who's fallen after drinking.

Episode 8
Crews rush to help a young man who has excruciating abdominal pain and a man with breathing difficulties who has a detachable ear.

Episode 9
New Year's Eve is one of the busiest days for the West Midlands Ambulance Service. One man's celebrations have been cut short after he was hit in the head by a firework, and a young patient who's taken an overdose is rushed to hospital.

Episode 10
As the New Year starts paramedics are called to a pregnant woman who's bleeding, while Joe and Hannah blue light to a young woman who's been self-harming.

Amandaland
Following three series of the Merman-produced, BAFTA award-winning series Motherland, a brand-new spin-off, Amandaland, is coming to the BBC, focused on Amanda.
Post her divorce, Amanda has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as the Estate Agent calls it SoHa (definitely not the area around Wormwood Scrubs prison).
With both Manus and Georgie now at secondary school, Amanda has to try and get her head around raising teenagers, dealing with modern motherhood horrors like teenage drinking, fake Instagram accounts and eco anxiety. Not even a woman as certain of her parenting as Amanda can deal with these nightmares alone.
Then there's Amanda's mother Felicity who is constantly around, and completely in denial that she is, in fact, lonely. Theirs is a slightly unhealthy co-dependent relationship based on backhanded compliments and veiled snipes about her new home.
After a brief spell of freedom, Anne is sucked back into being Amanda's minion to help her navigate the social scene with the other parents at the children's new school. Thank God for Anne.

The Pitt
