Director of the archeology department at the University of Marseille, Roxane Delage wakes up half-undressed in a house she does not know and next to the corpse of a man. Panicked, she erases her tracks and flees. Back home, Roxane finds her husband Alexis, and her 8-year-old daughter, Alma, from whom she hides her mishap. It was then that the policeman Hugo Combas arrived to arrest him. He has just learned from his doctor that his cancer left him little chance of survival. Quickly, all the evidence accumulates against Roxane to the point that even Alexis begins to doubt his innocence ...

Episode 2
Eight years after his arrest, Roxane finds his freedom. She is determined to do everything to trace the thread of the plot of which she was the victim and intends to prove that she is innocent. Helped in her reintegration by Dany, her former co-inmate, Roxane struggles to reconnect with Alexis and Alma. Indeed, Alexis has since rebuilt her life with Inès, and Alma, who has grown up well, no longer wants to see her mother again. For his part, Lieutenant Combas, cured, returned to his post and now works under the orders of Maupin, his former companion. But their relations remain stormy. Assailed by doubt, he plunges into the archives of the Delage affair ...

Roxane asks Alexis to help her investigate the Ortiz. At first reluctant, he ends up having suspicions, which puts him at odds with his future in-laws: François, the patriarch, Pablo, the young wolf, and Inès, his fiancée. One evening, he helps Roxane to enter the autonomous port in order to check suspicious containers from the Ortiz group which would be used for art trafficking. Quickly, their suspicions are confirmed. Brought together by the excitement of the moment, Alexis and Roxane are on the verge of kissing. At the same time, Combas responds to a complaint from Marchepied which accuses Roxane of having threatened him. He summons the young woman ...
