In the Dark - Season 2

Murphy is on the mend from her terrifying encounter with Dean, but Nia's visit spurs her into action. Murphy, Jess and Felix must act quickly to devise a plan that will keep them out of Nia's crosshairs and, possibly, save Guiding Hope in the process.

Murphy gets a surprise visit while the Guiding Hope team - Felix, Jess and Murphy -- work on a plan to cover up their new "business." Darnell's visit to Nia takes an unexpected turn and Dean gets a new mission.

Murphy is forced to turn her attention from Max when Guiding Hope's monetary surplus puts them on the radar of IRS agent Josh. Meanwhile, Jess's interest is piqued by a new employee and Felix decides to take matters into his own hands. Dean gets closer to information he can use against Nia and Darnell explores his options.

Murphy seeks to help Max out of a life-or-death situation, while Dean leverages them against each other in an attempt to fix his own bad circumstances. Felix finds difficulty juggling his dating life with his dealing life, while Jess is happily distracted by a new romance. Darnell tries a new gig, but his loyalty to Murphy and Max keeps him entangled in Nia's web.

Murphy's choices plunge the Guiding Hope crew deeper into Nia's game, as Jess continues to grow suspicious of the closed-door meetings between Felix and Murphy. Dean tries to keep Chloe away from Murphy lest she discover the truth about her dad. Pressure mounts as Darnell fails to deliver on his commitment, and Max realizes escaping his prior life is even harder than he thought.

Murphy and Felix juggle their personal extracurricular activities with the demands of drug dealing; Jess finds herself inextricably in Nia's crosshairs; Josh continues to seek Murphy's assistance with his challenging circumstances.

Murphy's preoccupation with helping Max - whose luck continues to spiral - forces her to take more extreme risks. Felix is forced to contend with issues at Guiding Hope, while Jess struggles as all her relationships are tested. Meanwhile, Chloe meets Dean's new partner, Gene, who shares information that feeds into her growing suspicions about her father. 

Murphy convinces Jess to help with a drug mission, while Felix finds himself in a legal predicament. Dean's partner Gene begins showing some real talent on the job, giving Dean a lead that could unravel Murphy's plans. Nia questions Darnell's loyalty, and Murphy visits Max.

When Murphy and Felix concoct a new plan to destroy Nia, Murphy's friendship with Josh proves to be more beneficial than she expected. In need of some space from Murphy, Jess makes a bold move with Sterling. Dean runs into issues at work, and Max gets an unexpected visitor.

Murphy and Felix swing for the fences when they attempt to execute the plan to end their arrangement with Nia. Finding himself in dire circumstances, Dean seeks the help of a former colleague. Max does the unthinkable.

With stakes high for everyone, Murphy, Jess, Felix, Max and Dean must each contend with the fallout following an attempt to cut off Nia's supply and take her down.

With Nia's entire shipment missing and the Guiding Hope crew under the gun to deliver it, Murphy, Jess, Felix and Max will stop at nothing to sniff out the stash. In the meantime, Dean has his own plans for the misplaced goods, while Gene visits Darnell and uncovers some shocking information.

In the shocking season finale, betrayal runs deep, and the consequences are devastating.
