At the BFI Imax, in the context of a TV festival leading up to the centennial of the BBC and before a sell-out audience, Alan Yentob engages Stephen Fry - writer, presenter, comedian, actor - in a wide-ranging discussion of the deeply personal challenges he has faced, and the professional achievements he has enjoyed, in his extraordinary life so far, from his jail time as a teenager convicted of credit card theft to his four-decade relationship with the BBC.
Fry reflects on his high-achieving Jewish family roots, his love of language, his life-changing times at Cambridge University, discovering the work of Oscar Wilde, the realisation he was gay, the extraordinary thrill of falling in love, and the mental health challenges he has bravely and publicly confronted.
Some of the TV highlights of his career are screened and discussed, including a comedy classic with Hugh Laurie and Rowan Atkinson.

Destination X
Destination X sees a group of contestants go on the road trip of a lifetime but they have no idea of their location. In order to win, they must figure out their mystery locations. Once they're on the blacked-out Destination X bus, the journey turns into a real-life game board, with challenges designed to offer clues as to their location, along with a few misdirects to keep them guessing.
At the end of each episode, the contestant who places an X on a map furthest from the actual location packs their bags. The first participant to reach Destination X will be crowned the winner.
The Snake
The Snake will follow 15 people from various professions trying to manipulate their way to becoming that week's snake, who decides who stays and who leaves the show, through a series of challenges. Each week, the winner of each challenge earns control of ‘The Saving Ceremony', an elimination that is about who will save certain contestants with people making friends, faking friends, or sparking romantic connections with the winner taking home $100,000.
