Christmas is the most competitive time of the supermarket calendar and shop floor staff need to make sure that Iceland does well. At stake is £10,000 cash in a briefcase, hand-delivered by Malcolm. But the new year brings a crisis with the alleged discovery of horse meat in Iceland beefburgers.

Keith, the company's long-suffering PR expert, is left dealing with an email inbox peppered with some imaginatively-written complaints. Winning back public trust is not going to be easy, but can a half-price sale on burgers get people buying them again?
Despite the uncertainty, Malcolm's pressing ahead with opening a new store in the former mining town of Treorchy in Wales. Meanwhile, senior buyer Alastair needs to find an attention-grabbing name for his newest product - prawns in a rice crispy-style batter.

Episode 3
CEO Malcolm Walker is concerned the horsemeat scandal has tarnished the company's image and cost millions in sales. He is relaunching the business and needs a game-changing TV advert. Septuagenarian Iceland ad veteran, Tom - the mastermind behind Iceland's memorable Kerry Katona ads - is pitching against a trendy London advertising agency. Who will get the green light to go ahead with the next campaign?
