Season 1
While boar hunting goes on in an ordinary country village, a missing person case takes place. Surrounding the missing person case, the villager's secrets are revealed one by one. Young Soo is a middle-aged man in the country village. He is married to Chae Jung. One day, Young Soo goes into the mountain to hunt boars with his friends. The boars damage crops in the village. While in the mountain, Young Soo faces an unexpected situation. Ok Soon has lived with her grandson since her son and daughter-in-law died in a fire. Ok Soon believes the fire was set by some people in the village. She doesn't trust the villagers and, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, she is even more wary of them. Chae Jung is Young Soo's wife. She often bursts out with anger at Young Soo, but she is otherwise a warm-hearted person. Due to her personality, she is popular among the villagers. After her son goes missing on the day Young Soo is boar hunting, she becomes mentally destroyed.

Young-soo (Park Ho-san) goes hunting to catch a wild boar. The moment he shot the gun towards the swaying grass, he heard the screams of people. And that night, his son (Lee Hyo-je) does not come into the house.

Someone saw someone shooting at a wild boar hunt. Young-soo (Park Ho-San) is the culprit of a threatening phone call, remembering Joo-hyeop (Cha Si-won), whom she met for the first time right after shooting, and tenaciously pursues Joo-hyeop.

500 million
The missing son, Inseong (Lee Hyo-je), returns, but has not said anything for several days, and the blackmailer calls for Young-su (Park Ho-san). Finally, the day comes when they decide to exceed 500 million, and Young-soo and Chae-jeong (Kim Su-jin) cross a river of no return.

Inseong (Lee Hyo-je) tells the story of that day. Chae-jeong (Kim Su-jin) gives Inseong a false alibi, and the next day, detective Du-man (Hwang Jae-yeol) comes to visit Inseong. Meanwhile, Young-soo (Park Ho-san) and his friends gather at the funeral of Jin-guk (Lee Gyu-hoe)'s wife.
