During a traffic stop, the only car on the road crashes out of a turn without even breaking and rolls over. The accident victim was a doctor and he was totally sober.

Hubert and Staller are supposed to teach children proper behaviour in traffic, when male teacher Beck is found dead and female teacher Sommer goes missing.

Staller finds a finger in his breakfast bun, but police commissioner Girwidz thinks the bigger problem are the many stray dogs.

During the required fitness exercises, the body of a casino owner is found. Lady Luck doesn't only help Staller when he gambles, but also in his investigation.

During a nighttime police action, Staller not only chases off a break-in perpetrator, but also damages a house wall, only to discover the skeleton of a women hidden in the wall.

In the practice room of the local Oompa band, Peter Händel is found head-first with a crashed skull stuck in a tuba. The murder weapon: a trumpet!

An architect was murdered by blunt impact using one of his model houses. The only hint: The dying man wrote the number 8 in his blood on a window.

An old lady was killed, suffocated from a dried out crumb cake. This case involves communal living for senior citizens, a newspaper article and a lottery ticket that wasn't redeemed.

Tödlicher Schneefall
A man in a boat was crushed by a heavy cocaine package. A homing device near the corpse as well as a transmitter in the package seem to hint at an interception.

Hubert and Staller follow up on an emergency call and find a man lying next to the road. When Hubert wants to call the pathologist, the "dead man" suddenly rises.

Nachts, wenn die Wasserwacht
A dead man is found floating in the water. A mystery, because the man is wearing a local lifeguard t-shirt and must have been a very good swimmer.

Die Venus von Ambach
Sculptor and painter Nobo Grün was battered to death with one of his own sculptures. Everything looks like a robbery with murder, but things develop differently than expected.

Wer A… sagt
When Hubert and Staller investigate a break-in at the junkyard, a suspicious red liquid is found dripping from a vehicle which just exited the scrap metal press.

Omm - Du bist tot
The "OMMMM" in the meditation center is interrupted by a sudden scream. Personal coach Gerber has collapsed – he's dead. It seems like he didn't take his medication.

The Repair Shop
The Repair Shop is a workshop of dreams, where broken or damaged cherished family heirlooms are brought back to life.
Furniture restorers, horologists, metal workers, ceramicists, upholsterers and all manner of skilled craftsmen and women have been brought together to work in one extraordinary space, restoring much-loved possessions to their former glory.
Many of these items have incredible stories behind them and a unique place in history: from an accordion played in the Blitz by a woman who is now in her 90s, to a beautifully crafted clock made by a father who was completely blind; a Pinball machine that is currently being used as a kitchen counter, and a Davenport desk with its trademark fake drawers which fooled burglars - and their crowbar.
The Repair Shop is an antidote to our throwaway culture and shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country.

The Gilded Age
The American Gilded Age was a period of immense economic change, of huge fortunes made and lost, and the rise of disparity between old money and new.
Against this backdrop of change, the story begins in 1882 — introducing young Marian Brook, the orphaned daughter of a Union general, who moves into the New York City home of her thoroughly old money aunts Agnes van Rhijn and Ada Brook. Accompanied by Peggy Scott, an accomplished African-American woman, Marian inadvertently becomes enmeshed in a social war between one of her aunts, a scion of the old money set, and her stupendously rich neighbors, a ruthless railroad tycoon and his ambitious wife, George and Bertha Russell.
In this exciting new world that is on the brink of the modern age, will Marian follow the established rules of society, or forge her own path?
