When a cop rescues the daughter of an affluent man, he is praised as a hero. However LaFiamma wonders how he was able to find her when no one else could. When the man's partner asks him, he says he used methods that were not legal. When he tells LaFiamma and Lundy about it, they check it out and find out he didn't do the things he said he did.
