A real estate developer and his fiancee are thinking outside the box when it comes to buying their first home together in Fullerton, California, but transforming a unique property into a livable home takes more than just creative ideas and a big bankroll. Their renovation skills are tested again and again as they hit construction roadblocks, design setbacks and equipment drama. When a forklift carrying their new kitchen countertops malfunctions in mid-air, the couple holds their breath and crosses their fingers that one day they'll see their kitchen completed.
