Clean Crisp Kitchen
These young new homeowners have a kitchen stuck in the 1960s--from yellow and brown tile to an outdated linoleum floor and nasty wallpaper, nothing was quite their style. To create an entertainer's kitchen, a wall is taken out to create more real estate. To add personality, they build custom hanging shelves from walnut plywood and even create a one-of-a-kind honeycomb wine rack to hang on the wall. Plus, custom stools take center stage around an all new island complete with recycled countertops and all-new cabinets. Finally, a funky backsplash and two-tone flooring make this a hip kitchen to cook in!

A tired 3,000-square-foot Veteran's hall gets a total makeover to create a fine bar for retired soldiers in a total of three days! From floor to ceiling, this popular hangout is completely transformed. A modern bar with concrete countertops replaces an old vinyl bar. An old airplane wing is cleaned up and turned into a one-of-a-kind table. And, an original tree ridge beam is exposed and highlighted with surrounding lath boards that run up the ceiling, creating a clean, open room. Plus, a brand new fireplace, all new floors and metal wainscoting make this Veteran's hall a unique place to hang out!

Zigzag Bar
These first-time homebuyers have a strange, unused room at the back of their cute new home. With dark walls, no natural light and a storage mudroom attached, this space needed some attention! In three days, licensed contractor and host, Josh Temple, and his crew knocked out a wall and brought in natural light with glass accordion doors. The old mudroom was opened up to become a large bar, faced with painted wood slats that are secured to the wall in a zigzag-like pattern. Plus, custom nesting coffee tables and benches are made from scratch.

Romantic Michigan Master

A dark basement that once served as a bar with ugly wood paneling, outdated bulky bar and no natural light is converted into a nature inspired master bedroom for this couple! What was once a low ceiling dark basement becomes a spa like retreat complete with a painted slat wall that serves as a custom headboard and custom wood stump side tables. Plus, the view from the bed is now a glass tile fireplace surrounded by cabinets and open cabinets. To top it off, they install a twig art ceiling treatment over the bed.

Bright Bungalow Kitchen
Josh Temple gets a taste of his own medicine when a big fan chases him down the aisles of the home improvement store.
