House Crashers - Season 4

Season 4

Episodes

Farmhouse Kitchen
These homeowners love to cook and bake but find that their tired and outdated kitchen just isn't working. The peninsula cuts the kitchen in half, leaving very little work space for prepping pastry or nightly dinners. To help alleviate the tight quarters, the peninsula is removed and new floor cabinets are installed, giving a more open feel and adding storage. A bright solid surface comes in to replace cracked counter tiles, and old flooring is transformed with wide wooden planks. Then, open shelving made with salvaged lumber replaces the old cabinets. Finally, a built-in pantry is removed and replaced with a repurposed piece of furniture.

Multipurpose Office
A room originally planned as an office has turned into a storage space, and these homeowners are stumped and don't know how to make it more functional for the entire family. Luckily, Josh and his crew are ready to turn this space around. Funky cork flooring replaces a dated tile floor, an oversized window is ripped out and replaced with two smaller windows, and a wall divider that serves as bottle storage is built into an existing entryway. A desk is built from salvaged wood to look like a riddling rack, and the plaster ceiling is covered with decorative tiles. Finally, a comfy sofa and TV are the finishing touches that make this room a great space for the family.

Warm Steel Loft
This time Josh and the team are taking on a 1980s loft addition on a craftsman home. The goal? To update the space so that it fits in with the rest of the house. First, this two-story loft is fitted with heated reclaimed hardwood floors, a steel-paneled wall, an iron stair rail and custom bookshelves. Then, the space gets some extra surprises when the crew brings in a modern gas fireplace and glass bifold doors.

Zen Bedroom
Oversized furniture dominates this couple's master bedroom, and the result is a cramped and uninviting space. These homeowners want a relaxing space that's calming after a hectic workday. The full-sized bed is replaced with a queen-sized platform bed faced with plank flooring. The planks are carried up the wall and onto the vaulted ceiling to make the headboard the focal point of the room. The unused window seat is ripped out to provide additional square footage. Dated shag carpet is replaced with soothing stone tiles for a zen-like feel. A TV is mounted on the wall and flanked with protruding niche boxes, and a console is built for TV components. Finally, the double-door entry is reduced to a single door and the bathroom door is replaced with opaque glass for a sleeker look.

Kitchen Blow-Up
A young couple has done the best they can to create their dream kitchen, but the end result doesn't quite live up to their vision. Lucky for them, they're about to get crashed. This kitchen is getting kicked up with new high ceilings, a gigantic cupboard with a sliding barn door, new cabinets and countertops, bamboo floors and all new appliances. And the final touch? The outdoor porch beside the kitchen will be used to create a new dining area with a custom bamboo slat wall treatment that's lit from behind.

Party Kitchen
A young couple who loves to entertain is stuck with a kitchen from another era...and not a very good one. Thanks to Josh and his crew, this space is headed for modern-day design with new flooring, cabinets, countertops, a kitchen island and lighting, plus a brand-new bay window. For the final touch, the team installs a TV that drops down from the ceiling.

Indoor/Outdoor Kitchen
A small, outdated kitchen goes through one serious remodel when the whole space is gutted and walls come down. In three days, old white cabinets, ugly white tile and dated appliances are torn out, making way for a brand-new indoor/outdoor kitchen. Josh and his crew are bringing in all new appliances, custom cabinets, a rich travertine floor and backsplash, new countertops and giant folding glass doors that lead to a raised deck with an outdoor kitchen. Plus, the team recycles old framing from the demolition to create a fired art piece for the new deck.

Bedroom Deck-out
A young Houston couple has a boring bedroom that's lacking style, furniture and a real bed - which makes it the perfect blank canvas for Josh and the House Crashers crew! A new platform bed with a lacquer finish, French doors opening to a brand-new deck, a flat-screen recessed TV and a custom bathroom door turn this boring bedroom into a stylish sanctuary.

Reclaimed Philadelphia Kitchen
A 150-year-old kitchen gets a modern update when House Crashers rolls into Philadelphia. Josh and his crew start off by dismantling a dividing wall between the kitchen and the dining area brick by brick, and then build it back up into a pony wall with a breakfast bar. Reclaimed bowling alley wood is utilized in new countertops, while flooring from a historic Philadelphia soundstage gets a new life as cabinets and drawers. The result? An updated contemporary kitchen with historical integrity.

Pub-Style Sunroom
A tired sunroom with shabby screens and a broken brick floor gets the ultimate makeover when House Crashers rolls into Sacramento. The result? The perfect pub room hangout. These homeowners have a small house with no space to entertain, so Josh is taking advantage of the sunroom to give this young couple some much-needed space. To create the ultimate pub room, Josh and his team build a custom stone fireplace with light-up seating, a rustic bar to entertain, concrete overlay floors, custom glass wall panels and all-new furniture.

Cohesive Living & Dining Space
These Houston homeowners are at a loss as to how to utilize their oversized living/dining area. An interior brick wall separates the space from a new addition and makes the entire room feel disjointed. They'd like a distinct dining area and a comfortable living area fit for the entire family. Josh and his team transform the back wall into a partial wall with a cutting-edge fire feature and rock surround. The dated textured ceiling is covered with framed panels, and the bedroom entry is moved. Then, wood flooring replaces the old carpet. Finally, a contemporary dining room table is built and added to the space.

Bar Basement Lounge
House Crashers is crashing Philly! And for some lucky homeowner, a cold, unused basement will become a slick new lounge, complete with cork pebble flooring, a unique cabinet media wall, a live-edge wood bar, steel glass doors and more! Plus, Josh and his crew take the project above and beyond with some unique furniture and a terrarium wall.

Streamlined Family Room
Let the crash begin! Josh and his team are taking on a cluttered family room, and they don't waste any time adding a built-in banquette and an entertainment wall. Plus, a funky wall with an old door is rebuilt, and two casement windows are added to the space. Additionally, the unused fireplace is demoed to provide more room for a one-of-a-kind table and a custom cabinet for storage. The crew installs French doors to allow access to a patio with additional dining space, and to top this makeover off, Josh installs an engineered wood floor.
