The family members essentially accept the old values and cherish what they love, and are uncomfortable by marches and talks of fighting.

This irreverent look at American family life centers on a bizarre household headed by a woman on her fourth marriage and rounded out by an assortment of strays, like an adopted grandfather and a camera thief.
