Kuryu Kohei is a young prosecutor who gets transferred to a division in Tokyo from Aomori. Unlike a typical prosecutor, he takes his cases seriously in a non-serious way. Together with his paralegal, Amamiya Maiko, they crack cases with his unconventional ways. Although earning a reputation as a bad apple, the influence from Kuryu's strong pursuit of justice slowly begins to change things around him.

The woman then sues the man for criminal injury. Meantime, the story unfolds as Kuryu and Amamiya discover that the woman is actually involved in a marriage fraud.

How can Kuryu prove that Mr. Otagawa is responsible for the murder and not Yasuda?
