Hawaiian Heat followed two Chicago cops who quit their jobs in the Windy City to become detectives in Hawaii. With little chance for promotion and fed up with the conditions that exist in Chicago, Metro Police Officers Mac Riley and Andy Senkowski decide to reconstruct their lives and head for Hawaii. Shortly after, when they help the police solve a complex case, they are offered jobs as detectives. The series relates their exploits as undercover detectives with the Criminal Investigative Unit of the Hawaiian Police Department.
