In the first of three programmes, they take a first look at the work of this year's crop of designers, all of whom have created beautiful and thought-provoking gardens. Carol Klein will be revelling in the Festival of Roses, Arit Anderson discovers the latest trend for no-dig allotments and Toby Buckland begins his guide to creating the perfect outdoor living space for summer. Joe Swift meets the ‘grow your own' gurus showcasing their work in the RHS community allotments, and Tayshan Hayden Smith joins to share his thoughts on his first ever visit to a flower show.
Rachel de Thame celebrates the work of this year's horticultural icon, designer Tom Stuart Smith, and we catch up with the master growers for 2021, the legendary Hardy's nursery.
