Güneş is a 35-year-old literature teacher from Izmir with 3 children. They live their own, happy lives with their 17-year-old fraternal twin daughters Nazlı and Selin, and Peri, who is two years younger than them. The marriage proposal of Haluk Mertoğlu, a famous businessman from Istanbul, astonishes Güneş. Güneş and Haluk's relationship comes to light when Nazlı becomes suspicious of her mother and proposes marriage. Nazlı is completely against this marriage and will do her best to prevent it from happening. While Selin thinks that this marriage is a great opportunity for both her mother and herself, Peri, the youngest, says that the choice that makes her mother happy will make her happy too. Despite all the problems caused by Nazlı, Haluk has no intention of giving up on Güneş. Haluk Mertoğlu wants to host Güneş and her daughters in their home in Istanbul to introduce the families. Güneş and Haluk's sudden marriage decision also provokes reaction from the Mertoğlu family.
