Жизнь приучила жителей Городка смотреть на неё философски. А философия учит нас, что ничто в мире не бывает случайным. Правда, к этому вопросу философы и жители Городка подходят немного по-разному. Что бы с вами ни случилось, философы считают, что так и должно было быть, а жители Городка – что так вам и надо. Горожане уверены: что бы они ни делали, может случиться всё что угодно, поэтому они предпочитают вообще ничего не делать – на всякий случай, благодаря чему в Городке всякие случаи происходят постоянно. Случаи, как и жители Городка, бывают счастливые и несчастные, потому что наши горожане – люди очень чувствительные. Например, когда с кем-то из жителей Городка происходит счастливый случай, остальные чувствуют себя несчастными.
