Жители Городка очень любят фотографироваться на память, так как на свою память без фотографий они не рассчитывают. Поэтому можно с уверенностью сказать, что плохая память лежит в основе всего культурного прогресса. В самом деле, если бы у людей была хорошая память, и они бы и так всё помнили, не надо было бы рисовать картины, записывать свои мысли на бумаге и придумывать фотографию. И политики всего мира обязаны своим успехом прежде всего плохой памяти: люди ходят на выборы потому, что никак не могут запомнить – ничем хорошим это ещё ни разу не кончалось. Даже письменность возникла только потому, что кто-то первым решил сделать на память пару зарубок. Если бы не склероз, человечество до сих пор жило бы в пещерах и кушало мамонтов.
