The Matthews' family road trip takes a horrifying turn when they are detoured to a small pastoral town from which they cannot leave. When their family RV crashes, Sheriff Boyd Stevens and other residents rush to save them before the sun goes down.

The Way Things Are Now
At Colony House, Tabitha and Julie grapple with their new nightmarish reality. Out in the forest, Jim, Boyd and Kristi struggle to treat Ethan's injuries. Tragedy strikes from an unexpected source as a new threat arises among the residents of the town.

Choosing Day
The Matthews family must choose which of the two settlements they will join. Meanwhile, Jade comes to terms with his situation and Boyd is faced with an impossible decision that strikes at the very heart of life in the town.

A Rock and a Farway
Julie finds comfort in her new friends as Jim and Tabitha deal with their struggling marriage. Ethan ventures off into the forest with Victor while Father Khatri urges Boyd to embrace his role as leader. Sara receives another horrifying directive.

Silhouettes
Jim, Tabitha, and Ethan begin asking questions about where they are in the hopes it may lead them home. Ellis and Fatima show Julie the lighter side of life in town. Jade struggles to make sense of their situation as Boyd seeks guidance.

Book 74
Boyd's plan to head off into the forest provokes an unexpected response from Kenny. Jade enlists Jim's help with an experiment while Tabitha makes a chilling discovery that sends her down a unique path searching for answers.

All Good Things...
Father Khatri tells Boyd why he believes Sara may be useful. Jim and Tabitha find comfort in each other. Colony House celebrates the one-year anniversary of Fatima's arrival with a party that goes terribly wrong.

Broken Windows, Open Doors
In the wake of another death, Boyd questions his decision to leave. Kenny steps up and embraces his new role. Jim rallies the town around his idea to build a radio tower. Fatima urges Ellis to make amends with his father before it is too late.

Into the Woods
Boyd and Sara journey deeper into the forest than Boyd has ever gone, encountering new and terrifying mysteries. Jim's confidence in the radio tower begins to wane. An unexpected tragedy causes Donna to unravel. Kenny and Kristi share a moment.

Oh, the Places We'll Go
Boyd draws strength from an unlikely source. Jim's radio tower yields consequences which rock him to his very core. The hole that Tabitha has been digging leads her somewhere – and to someone - she could never have expected. Everything is about to change.

Amandaland
Following three series of the Merman-produced, BAFTA award-winning series Motherland, a brand-new spin-off, Amandaland, is coming to the BBC, focused on Amanda.
Post her divorce, Amanda has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as the Estate Agent calls it SoHa (definitely not the area around Wormwood Scrubs prison).
With both Manus and Georgie now at secondary school, Amanda has to try and get her head around raising teenagers, dealing with modern motherhood horrors like teenage drinking, fake Instagram accounts and eco anxiety. Not even a woman as certain of her parenting as Amanda can deal with these nightmares alone.
Then there's Amanda's mother Felicity who is constantly around, and completely in denial that she is, in fact, lonely. Theirs is a slightly unhealthy co-dependent relationship based on backhanded compliments and veiled snipes about her new home.
After a brief spell of freedom, Anne is sucked back into being Amanda's minion to help her navigate the social scene with the other parents at the children's new school. Thank God for Anne.
