Episode 2

In episode two, Paul meets a dog that won't go near people, a dog that won't go for a walk and a dog who has been at Battersea for five months because she just won't calm down.
Staffie-cross Roxi is five years old but has the energy of a puppy. After attempting to take her on her daily walk, Paul says: "You need roller-skates on, you go 90 miles an hour!"
Paul tries some dog massage on Roxi to see if she will calm down long enough to meet a potential new owner…
Also this week, Paul meets Floyd, a rare West African Azawakh who is just a year old and very subdued and unhappy. Paul gently tries to communicate with him through the bars of his kennel, but Floyd walks the other way. Not one to give up lightly, Paul is determined to lift his spirits:
"He is a beautiful dog isn't he? Floyd, come on fella…You're such a good boy. Shall we be pals? Shall we?"
