The film features members of three firms - Man City's Blazing Squad, Spurs' Yid Army and Bury's Interchange Riot Squad - and follows them home and away to tell the inside story of why a new group of young men are engaged in football-related violence, even though the clubs obviously don't condone their actions. They allow us into their lives to meet their families and girlfriends, and show the secretive network of organised fights that take place every week.

Premiership football is one of the most glamorous sports in the world, beamed to hundreds of millions worldwide and worth over £20 billion a year.
But there's a darker element lurking close to the surface. In recent years football hooliganism has been a secret network of clashes between rival firms, planned well away from stadiums and CCTV.
But last season things changed. Violence is now breaking out inside the ground, on our streets and even fighting on our transport network.
Police claim arrests for disorder are down, but football's European governing body warns of a return to hooliganism's dark days.
In this film we follow some of the most active youth firms in the country, home and away, to see just how far the rules of football hooliganism have changed.

Jo Conran is a single mum working as a flight attendant. Her son is serving a fifteen-year sentence in a Bulgarian prison for a murder he swears he did not commit. Jo is approached by a gang who know all about her son and is blackmailed into using her job to smuggle drugs. She soon finds herself pulled into a murky underworld of corrupt cops and hired killers, forced to carry out their orders with no escape in sight. However, no matter how far Jo finds herself from her old life, her mission remains the same, to keep her son alive.
